HEALTHY CONGREGATIONS WORKSHOP

Recognizing the value of understanding family systems and the prevalence of anxiety in churches (and the world), the Leadership Development Team is offering 10 scholarships for up to $500 each for pastors/churches to participate in a Healthy Congregations workshop through the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center. The workshop is being held Nov. 3-4 in Columbia, SC.  The requirement is that participation include at least one pastor/clergy and one layperson from a church.  The registration fee is $99.  This gives the church funds to pay for lodging and travel. We will reimburse registration and expenses.

Seminar: "Building Resiliency in Uncertain Times"

Mondays from 5:30 pm -7:00 pm
October 16 and November 20
Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Campus; Winston-Salem, NC

Humans have a remarkable healing wisdom innate within our bodies. Learning how to utilize this wisdom by understanding the brain science with biblical principles and learning how to regulate our responses to stress and trauma can reduce the long-term negative effects caused by cumulative exposure to stress and trauma. The good news is that "Resiliency Wins Over Trauma".

In today's uncertain times across our churches and communities, now is the time to join us at FaithHealth NC for a 90-minute seminar that explores how stress and trauma affect our bodies, minds and spirits and learn practical methods that help unleash the healing wisdom of our bodies.

For registration and location details please email Emily Viverette at FaithHealth NC, eviveret@wakehealth.edu
